Pottery has been cultivated in Viekšniai since ancient times. Near the Kalupis stream, there is a place where clay was once dug, and pots were made in nearby pottery workshops. Therefore, the outdoor exhibition features enlarged prototypes of Narva culture pots, symbolizing earth, fire, and water-the main components of ceramic art. The aim is to show visitors the journey of clay products from their beginnings to a wide variety of finished goods. The prehistoric ceramics exhibition is like a classroom where educators can teach lessons on the art of ceramics, explaining the interaction of the three elements - earth, water, and fire.
