Šilo Pavėžupio dvaro fragmentai

Graži vieta, Šiaulių apskritis

The first records of Šilo Pavėžupys manor date to the 16th century, when I. Sprogis's 1575 geographical dictionary mentioned a Šilas manor by the Vėžupis stream. The estate passed through several owners, most notably the Putvinskis family from the 18th century onward. A 1983 fire destroyed the main manor house, replaced afterward with a memorial stone bearing a sun symbol, while a wooden barn from the original complex still stands.
