Puka jaanituli is the site of Puka's annual Jaanipäev (Midsummer's Eve) bonfire celebration, held in the park beside Puka Kultuurimaja, the local cultural centre, at Kesk tänav 47. The evening traditionally combines the communal bonfire with games and other activities organized by the cultural centre, drawing residents of Otepää Parish in Valga County.
