The coast of the Šventoji river near the Kavarska dam in the Anykščiai district attracts outdoor fishermen with its swift current and deep holes. Shad, tench, perch and pike are mostly caught here. The place is easily accessible on foot from the outskirts of the town along outdoor paths.
