Kilutis Lake, around which this peninsula extends, lies in the southeastern part of Biržai district municipality and covers roughly 86 hectares. The Apaščia River flows through the lake, entering from the southeast and exiting to the northwest, and the basin was dammed in 1978, shaping the shoreline as it exists today. Maximum depth reaches 3.5 metres, with the peninsula providing shoreline access near Kilučiai village.
