Žygis, Vilniaus apskritis
Looping for about 10 kilometers through the wooded hills of Verkiai Regional Park, this trail links five historic villages on Vilnius's edge: Turniškės, Staviškės, Kremplius, Naujieji Verkiai, and Verkių Riešė. Marked with directional arrows and dotted with information stands, the route can be joined at any point and is designed to be walked clockwise, typically taking around two and a half hours. Along the way it passes the site of a Vilnius hydroelectric station that was begun but never finished between the world wars, as well as the remains of the Naujieji Verkiai paper mill and the Staviškės hillfort.
