A huge protected territory of wetlands and forests in the Šiauliai district, intended for the preservation of unique plant communities of high marshes and rare species of waterfowl. The reserve does not have established recreational trails and self-guided visits are restricted for conservation purposes, making the area best suited to professional ornithologists and naturalists.
