On the left bank of the Šventupis River at its confluence with a smaller stream, this complex combines a hillfort, known locally as Kaukuras or Švedų bokštas (Swedish Tower), a burial mound and a cemetery dating from the 10th to 17th centuries. Archaeologists carried out investigations at the site in 1970 and 1990.
