Aleksandrijos dvaro sodybos fragmentai

Graži vieta, Šiaulių apskritis

Originally a settlement called Lepšiai, this estate was renamed Aleksandrija after Count Nikolajus Zubovas acquired it between 1795 and 1832 and named it for his wife Aleksandra. A brick and tile factory built here in 1886 employed about 50 workers and supplied materials for major building projects; after the war its buildings made office supplies. The site is now largely deteriorated, with fragments of the administrator's house, stables, smithy and storage buildings visible from a safe distance, since it is not suited to close-up visits.
