Laužavietė, Tartumaa
Reached via a gravel forest road about 6.5 km north of Matjama village in Peipsiääre municipality, this RMK-maintained forest hut belongs to the Tartu-Jõgeva recreation area. It offers a roofed table and bench, an open fire pit, a woodshed with a sleeping loft, a composting toilet, and space for up to five tents holding four people each. The 30-km Selgise cycling route starts and finishes here, and the hut also lies along the Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking trail, surrounded by forest known for berries, mushrooms, and a resident population of red wood ants near Padakõrve.
