The protected territory of the park located in the Joniškis district by the river Švėtė, is well known as a good place in northern Lithuania to observe migrating and breeding water and forest birds. Special birdwatching towers and information stands about the local fauna have been installed in this area, and the famous Mūšas tyrelí educational trail stretches nearby. Visiting the territory is free all year round, it is recommended to bring binoculars with you.
