The protected regional park, stretching along the coast of the Baltic Sea from Klaipėda to Palanga, is designed to protect the unique coastal landscape, sea boulders and dunes. The park is famous for its attractions such as Holland's Hat Cliff, the old Karklė Lifeboat Station and Plaze Lake, and popular hiking and biking trails pass through it. Visiting the park territory is free, the visitor center is located in Karkle (visiting is paid), and there are paid parking lots for those arriving by car.
