The memorial is located in Raseiniai district, Ariogala, in the picturesque valley of the Dubysa river. This place is intended to honor Lithuanian partisans, exiles and political prisoners who fought for the country's independence - a powerful partisan chapel, a memorial wall with surnames and dozens of wooden crosses were built here. The territory is free, open to visitors all year round, and every year on the first Saturday of August, the traditional big skirmish of Lithuanian exiles and freedom fighters "With Returning Hope" takes place here.
