Atpūtas vietas Balvu vecajā parkā are rest areas within Balvi's old park, laid out on the former grounds of Balvi Manor beside Balvu Lake. In the early 1990s, part of the old manor orchard, known as Lāča dārzs (Bear Garden), was converted into a public recreation area featuring 23 stone compositions built from 49 boulders. The park also retains a central pond, remnants of an earthen embankment, and a hazel alley dating from the manor period.
