A large, well-known protected park in Lithuania, which includes the picturesque Lake Platelia and the deep forests of Žemaitija. The park offers a well-developed tourism infrastructure: a cycling route around Platelii, dozens of educational trails, free camping sites and a Cold War museum in the former missile base. The visitor center in Platelei provides paid guide services.
