Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis
The eighth fort of the Kaunas fortress (also known as the Linkuva fort), is located in Šilainiai, on the slope of a hill. It is one of the first concrete forts built during the time of Tsarist Russia, which is currently partially flooded, covered with vegetation and has become a place for bats to hibernate. Admission is free, but extreme caution, a flashlight, and non-slip shoes are required when exploring the wet dungeons and rough terrain.
