Paplūdimys, Jarvamaa
The beach at Pilistvere lies on a paisjärv, a reservoir created by a dam on the Navesti river, not on a sea coast, despite Pilistvere's inland position in Viljandi County. Pilistvere itself sits on the left bank of the Navesti, roughly along the middle of the river's 100 kilometer course toward the Pärnu river. The impounded stretch is used locally as a swimming and fishing spot, consistent with other river beaches recorded along the Navesti.
