Marked with blue and green trail signs, this 8-kilometer path follows the Rīva River as it cuts a canyon-like gorge up to 12 meters deep through Jūrkalne parish, with access signposted from route V1186 near the Ulmales-Labraga Lutheran Church. Hikers pass a long series of river meanders and steep cliff faces over roughly 2.5 hours, with benches and fire pits placed at several rest points along the way. In late 2025 the Dienvidkurzeme municipality completed upgrades to the trail, adding a new viewing platform and entrance gates.
