Opened in 2021, this 28-meter steel tower crowns Taborkalns hill in Sēlpils parish, marking the historic site of a Struve Geodetic Arc survey point once used by geodesist Karl Tenner in the 1820s (the Arc is a UNESCO World Heritage listing). From the top, visitors get sweeping views over the hilly Sēlija landscape and the Daugava river valley below. There's a parking area and developed path at the base.
