Gražutė Regional Park was established in 1992 to protect the lake-rich, forested landscape at the headwaters of the Šventoji river. It covers 31,933 hectares and contains more than 70 bodies of water, including the Antalieptė reservoir and lakes Luodis, Samavas and Dūkštas.
