In Klaipėda, between Tilžės Street and Taikas Avenue, there is a picturesque park with a large Malūnos pond, also called Trinyčiai pond. The recently fully modernized park has excellent pedestrian and bicycle paths, children's playgrounds and dog walking areas, and a popular waterboarding park operates in the pond in the summer. Admission is free, the park is well-lit, so it's safe and pleasant to walk around even in the dark.
