This community house in Betygala occupies a restored building from around 1922 that once served as the town's district administration headquarters, standing on the western side of the central square. The restoration preserved original details, including a ground floor hall with its authentic doors and windows, and the Betygala rural community now runs educational programs and welcomes visiting groups there.
